At Coastal Animal Medical Center, we know how hard it is to leave your pet while you are out of town or at work. Next to you, your veterinarian knows your pet best which is why we offer boarding at our facility. We have a dog-free boarding room for your feline friend.
Our cat condos were specially designed to help your cat feel safe and cozy while she is away from home. The condo has a bedroom, a litter room and the main room with a loft. Our condos are suitable for one adult cat or two kittens. Family cats that get along well can occupy a top and bottom condo with an open hatch between so they can play and cuddle together. These condos are in the feline ward where no dogs are allowed. Though we provide cat litter for your cat’s stay, if your cat is finicky about her litter, you can bring your own litter for us to use while you’re gone.
Because cats have a tendency to get an upset stomach with diet changes, we require that you bring your cat’s regular food for her to eat during her stay. Dry food should be placed in a plastic sealable bag labeled with your cat’s name. If you feed canned food, please write your cat’s name on each can. Please bring all medicines in their original containers with instructions. If your cat is finicky about her litter, you can bring your own litter for us to use while you’re gone.
Every cat that boards at our facility must be current on the following immunizations: FVRCP and Rabies. Each cat must be current on flea prevention (if not current upon checkin, flea prevention will be applied at owner’s expense).
$19 is the nightly rate for our cat condos. Checkout time is 11am. If you check out after 11 am, you will be charged for the day of check out.
