We know you have lots of choices for boarding your dog. That’s why Coastal AMC provides luxurious, safe lodging for your pet while you’re away. We are an all-suite facility. Your dog does NOT stay in a cage. All of our suites come equipped with a raised bed, fresh linens, and stainless steel food and water bowls. We take each dog outside in our fully-fenced exercise yard at least three times each day for them to be able to run, stretch and go potty off lead. Because we want to avoid injuries that might occur when dogs play with other strange dogs, we let your dog outside individually or with his brothers and sisters under the supervision of our staff. Baths and nail trims are available upon request for our boarders. Additional potty breaks and “Hugs and Kisses Sessions” can also be added.

Canine Suites

Each canine suite is fully-walled to allow privacy from other visitors. We use glass doors so your pet can see out, but he doesn’t risk scratching his nose or feet on the bars of normal kennel doors. Some suites offer windows so your friend can enjoy natural light throughout the day. We offer three suites (dimensions are approximate): Small – 5’6″ x 5’8″ (31 sq ft), Medium – 7’6″ x 7’8″ (57 sq ft), Large – 9’6″ x 8’6″ (82 sq ft). All the suites have raised beds for your canine friend’s comfort (beds can be removed upon client request).

Because dogs have a tendency to get an upset stomach with food changes, we require that you bring your pet’s regular food for him to eat during his stay. If you feed dry food, please put each meal in an individual ziplock labeled with your dog’s name so there is no confusion about what food to feed or how much to offer. If you choose not to prepare individual bags, please bring the food in a small container no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12″ so it will fit in your pet’s cubby. You may bring multiple containers if necessary If you feed canned food, please write your pet’s name on each can. Please bring all medicines in their original containers with instructions.

Health Requirements

Every dog that boards at our facility must be current on the following immunizations: DHPP, Bordetella, Canine Influenza N2/N8, and Rabies. Each dog must be current on flea prevention (if not current, prevention will be applied at owner’s expense at drop-off).

Drop off and Pick Up Times

Our front desk is staffed 7 days a week for pick ups and drop offs for your convenience (with the exception of some holidays). Checkout time is 11 am. If you pick up after the checkout time, an additional day of boarding will be charged.

A new Boarding Release Form will be required each time you drop your pet off for boarding. Please allow plenty of time at check in to complete the paperwork. If your schedule will be tight when dropping off your pet, feel free to come in the day prior to check in with your pet’s supplies to complete the paperwork. It will make drop off much quicker!
